Pricing
Wholesale Pricing is available to retail establishments, stocking dealers, e-commerce storefronts, and B & B getaways that resale. Wholesale Prices require a Sales Tax Exemption Number and fulfillment of a one time minimum Opening Order of 8 pieces in any mix and/or match of style and/or finish. Larger items count as 2 pieces. For below minimum Opening Orders, a one time up charge of 20 % will apply. There is no minimum or up charge on reorders.
Trade Pricing is available to Interior Decorators, Architects, Galleries, Museums, Historical Homes, Restaurants, Offices and B & B getaways who furnish or complete jobs but do not inventory or resale. Trade pricing requires a Federal Business Identification Number. Ashlen does no require a minimum Opening Order for Trade Pricing. Quantity discounts are available for larger jobs. Please feel free inquire. Quotes are always available.
Distributor Pricing is available to companies who have a Sales Tax Exemption Number with a minimum order of 45 items in any mix and/or match. All orders not meeting the minimum required will be subject to standard wholesale prices.
Retail Pricing is available through any Authorized Dealer of Ashlen Windsor Furniture or through Ashlen direct . In support of every active store and individual who promotes and sells our line, Ashlen promises to work in partnership. Regardless of the origin of order, Ashlen is able to drop ship anywhere in the country or Canada.
Additional Charges will apply to crating, freight, and custom options. Shipping is FOB Ashlen Mfg Co, Northport, Alabama. Customer pick-ups are allowed.
To request pricing, contact Ashlen by phone, email or fax. All new inquiries must request and complete a New Account Form also available on our website www.ashlen.com. Pricing will be sent upon receipt and review of the completed form. We will contact you if additional information is needed to process your request.
Order Acknowledgements, Invoicing and Payments
Ashlen is committed to offering you and/or your customers the quality handcrafted furniture you have grown to love and expect.
Ashlen does not operate from an inventory. Every Ashlen Windsor is built
in-house per customer request on a first come first serve basis.
To place an order, contact Ashlen. All orders must be received in writing either by email, fax, or mail accompanied with a 25% deposit. You may call, email or fax to reserve a production date however ONLY orders with deposits will enter production.
Once your order has been processed, we will send an Order Acknowledgement with our current estimated lead time. If we have not received a deposit, we will request it at this time. For your convenience, we accept Visa/MasterCard and Discover payments as well as checks and money orders.
Please understand that our current lead time is an estimate based on in-house orders. We do our best to meet or exceed these dates however unforeseen circumstances occur when custom building furniture.
Once your order is scheduled to enter production, we will send an invoice requesting balance due. Please allow 2-3 weeks from invoice date for shipping of all paid in full orders. For your convenience, we accept Visa/MasterCard and Discover payments as well as checks and money orders.
When possible, we will include freight charges on your invoice. If we are unable to lock in a shipping rate before your balance is requested, a separate invoice will follow. Finance charges will be accessed to all outstanding freight invoices.
We will warehouse completed orders without payment in full up to 30 days from invoice date. After 30 days, we will apply monthly warehousing finance charges.

Ashlen does its best to ensure a damaged free delivery by personally inspecting as well as over packaging every shipment that leaves our workshop. Ashlen also chooses to work with only a few common carrier lines. Each is familiar with our product line and understands the handling methods required for successful delivery. As a result, Ashlen experiences minimal damage.
Once given our signature, your furniture is individually wrapped, floating inside cartons or crates. We ship each carton loose with Furniture Up arrows as well as a request not to Fork or Drop. You should not receive pallets of stacked boxes, boxes laying on their sides, crushed or punctured boxes, or even worse Furniture without boxes. If any of the above scenarios occur, please notate the condition of arrival on the bill of lading as well as any other documentation necessary after your inspection.
Open and inspect the entire order when delivered even if the box does not appear damaged. Check for internal damage resulting from top loading, dropping, and/or rough handling. If internal damage is noticed refuse only the pieces that do not pass your inspection. Notate the bill of lading accordingly.
If external damage is noticed, please inspect the furniture and notate any problems on the bill of lading. Refuse the pieces that have visible damage.
(You may accept the pieces that pass your inspection and refuse only the damaged goods. Please notate the bill of lading accordingly.)
Example1: 2 of 3 boxes crushed. Damage to front leg found on two chairs. Refused 2 total boxes.
Example 2: 1 of 8 boxes dented. All 8 boxes accepted.
Please note: Shipping damage not reported to the driver at time of delivery is subject to only 1/3 of total compensation by the carrier company. (Claim settlements may vary.)
If driver refuses to wait for inspection of all boxes, please notate bill of lading before signing and accepting delivery. If the driver refused to wait and damage is discovered, immediately call the 800 number located on your bill of lading. Ask that the carrier company to document your report of internal or external damage. Also, request an immediate inspection and/or pick-up by the carrier line.
Next, contact Ashlen at 205-339-1100 so the appropriate measures can be taken to repair or replace the damaged order in a timely fashion.
****Your signature without appropriate documentation represents receipt of acceptable product. All additional charges associated with Repairs, Replacements, Crating, and/or Freight will be invoiced according. **Please, Please inspect and notate everything. We do not want to pass these charges to you; however we can not continue to absorb them ourselves.
Additional Freight Services and Fees
Ashlen receives discounts from several common carrier lines. Although our freight is generally shipped collect, we have started pre-paying and invoicing
accordingly. Some of our truck lines have offered us a bigger percentage discount to handle business this way. We are happy to pass our savings to you.
Ashlen will pre-pay Standard Delivery only unless prior arrangements have been made. Standard Delivery is to the threshold of your door. Additional services and Special Request are available for a fee and will be the responsibility of the individual requesting such service. Below is a sample list of additional services. Prices will vary depending on Common Carrier Line.
Freight quotes are always available. Please contact us with the Ashlen style number and quantity, destination zip code, and additional service when applied.
Residential Delivery and Drop Shipping
Standard Residential Delivery and Drop Shipping are available for an additional fee depending on the common carrier line. "Standard Delivery" is delivery to the front threshold of the home. The driver is not responsible for bringing the freight inside. They will not assist with the unpacking or the cleanup.
The carrier line will call to schedule a delivery time. Normal hours for delivery are Monday - Friday during normal business hours.
A signature will be required for delivery. Please inspect the product in its entirety before signing. If any damage is noticed, your customer will need to notate the bill of lading and refuse the damaged portion only of the shipment. Notify Ashlen as soon as possible so the appropriate measures can be taken to replace the damaged order in a timely fashion.

Our Signature Guarantee
Our Signature is Your Guarantee! We brand our name onto the underside of every order we build. This signature represents a promise to stand behind our craftsmanship and a guarantee that with proper care, Ashlen furniture will last for generations.
Ashlen Furniture is hand made and wedged in the same manner as the 18th Century Originals. Over time, hardwoods may develop a tendency to shrink and expand due to temperature and/or humidity changes. This movement is a characteristic of quality hand made furniture and is usually accepted because of the charm and character it provides to the piece. Please be aware that this shift is not a defect and will not interfere with the function of your furniture. If for any reason, extreme movement is noticed or should the piece become unusable please feel free to contact Ashlen Windsor Chair Company.
First contact Ashlen to receive a Sales Return number to include in the shipment.
Box the damaged product including an explanation for return along with the Sales Return number issued by Ashlen. Apply shipping labels to the box or boxes addressed to
Return the product to us using one of your carrier lines or a shipping store.
Upon receipt of returned product, Ashlen will inspect each piece. Any item found to be repairable will be reworked in-house at Ashlen’s expense. Any item found to be damaged beyond repair will be replaced at Ashlen’s expense. The following conditions apply.
Finished and Unfinished parts are available for sale to individuals willing to perform the repair themselves. Ashlen will not be responsible for packaging or shipping expenses. Please note: Once you or an outside craftsman works on our product, the Signature Guarantee becomes void.
Commercial Warranty
Ashlen Windsor Chair Company has had the privilege of furnishing Restaurants, Doctor’s Offices, Boardrooms, Country Clubs, University Clubs, Golf Resorts, Hotels and Historic Inns.
Commercial environments lend themselves to situations of higher volumes of traffic, as well as more frequent abuse to products when compared to a normal household setting.
While in-house, Ashlen makes sure that all of our furniture is built one piece at a time ensuring the use of quality wood parts, a tight fitting wedge, and lots of glue. Upon completion, the order is inspected before shipping.
Once the order ships, it becomes the responsibility of the commercial entity to routinely inspect and maintain their Ashlen furniture for the safety of their guest.
Our Signature Guarantee will apply as stated above as long as all warranty conditions are met.
Repaired or replaced chairs will be shipped only when the damaged chairs have been received by Ashlen and all freight expenses have been paid in full.
Note:
When possible, repaired or replaced products will be shipped from Ashlen attached to a current in-house order belonging to the store initiating the return, thus cutting freight cost one-way.
Any piece received disassembled for shipping or any piece purchased from Ashlen unfinished or without the Ashlen logo will be fixed or replaced for a fee. Ashlen will not be responsible for packaging and/or freight cost on these chairs.
Ashlen will not be responsible for freight cost incurred by lack of inspecting or notating damage at time of receipt by customer.
