Stain Finishes for American Windsors

1810 1811 Ashlen's American Windsor line is built in-house in a traditional three-wood construction developed in the 18th century. The seats are hand-shaped from two-inch White Pine. Vase style legs turned from Hard Maple and Red Oak spindles are held in place by a split wedge construction. Arm knuckles and wings are individually carved.

Because stain takes differently to various types of wood, slight variations can be noticeable. These variations are typically considered charming as they add character to the Windsor. Below are our available stains on Pine wood.
